He was shite. Total nut job and swiftly destabilised us after Hurst left us steady but unspectacular.

Give me strength. Hurst is a pragmatic winner of football matches who has reached his ceiling, Jolley is an intelligent man who is out of his comfort zone.

I hope it's comfort zone and not depth.

Anyone who thought he could put out an experimental game in a "Derby" match without parts of the team having any of their recognised players in there resulting in a home 5-1 hammering was several pence short of the proverbial shilling.

The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress.

I never thought I would say it but I would have Hurst back, not a big fan of the bloke and his deputy but I'd have him back when he gets sacked by Ipswich and is looking for a job.

No excrement you would. We’ve been absolutely terrible since Hurst left us.

Unfortunately he’s totally out of our league now.

I've got a new manager at work who played as a striker for Solihiull whilst bignot was there. He said he was the most clueless manager he's played under. Could be sour grapes as he ended up leaving and solihull got promoted, but didn't like him at all.

You might but Hurst would not touch this club with a bargepole and who could blame him? The Halifax away game in particular and the constant "Spoilt" chant will always remind him of the toxic relationship with fans here.

He was treated like scum by SOME fans no wonder he cupped is ears at Wembley it was definitely a love/hate relationship.

Call Fenty all ya like but he did stand by him and in the end, he delivered the goods some might argue it took him to long but look at Wrexham proving that history/size of club means nothing today.

Yes as a lifelong Mariner fan it's bloody painful and hurts like hell but Jolley has to be given a fair crack at getting this team going.

No gain without pain.
