That was the first time it really sank into me how far we'd actually fallen in that first season in non-league about 6 or 7 games in, stood on that poxy away terrace watching us get beat 2-1. He turned his head at one point and burst out laughing because there was someone stood in their garden peering over the fence to watch the match.
