Rob Staton of BBC Radio Sheffield has tweeted that he has been appointed as Sports Editor of Radio Humberside and Look North.  I've noticed that Matt Dean has been absent from Saturday Sport on Humberside for the past two weeks. Perhaps he is moving on.

Matt stood down from the role. The new guy wants to be hands on at games on a Saturday so maybe Matt, Mike White, Burns or JT will be surplus?

Will be a shame if this means less (or even no) Matt Dean on Humberside anymore. He's the best presenter on there by miles. Great at interviews too - always draws interesting responses out of his interviewees rather than bog standard platitudes.

I agree, I really enjoyed his professionalism
