No.  If a "drag along" applies they can be forced to sell.

Why would an 'American consortium' which to buy GTFC wholesale? We might be cheap, but there is no money to be made here - unless they were planning to franchise the club out somewhere. Sounds like a load of nonsense to me.

A new Trump Tower on the site of BP and bulldozering the Fitties to make way for a new golf resort. Sounds as coherent a plan as some of the others we've seen.

Would a majority have to agree though? I thought Fenty owned approx 42% of the shares?
If 58% were asked, and agreed, would he have to sell too?

It is hyperthetical I know and it is not something i know anything about

I'm pretty sure that only just above 80% of GTFC shareholders are (ahem) "still breathing air on this planet" and able to vote, which means in effect that the 42% is a majority stake..
