Just seen on Twitter that a PNE fan was having a hard time with a mental health problem so John rang him up and offered this young lad his ear whenever he needs it.

Proper club captain. Been all round, mightily impressed with him, and it's great that we finally have a midfield shaping up that is worthy of the name. Many managers have tried over the years, and some have got close, but Jolley seems to have nailed it almost immediately. I think some of our younger fans maybe now see why us older fans have been complaining long and hard about our midfield set up over the years, and what a difference a good one makes to the team.
