I dare say she's right. But you do lay yourself a patronising attitude if it appears that your husband has appointed you to do a role like that. For the avoidance of doubt I would think the same thing if it was Radford's son or husband - any apparent nepotism is best avoided.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Maybe they speak to her husband, not her as he's the one who made the money. She should just smile, show some mammaries and get the kettle on for the meetings.

She definitely married him for his youthful good looks.

As Kingston says, nepotism makes folk wary. I have no idea whether she is good at her job or not, but i'm sure there are male execs out there who are in their positions based on family ties, rather than talent.

She’s probably right, look at the state of our own boardroom - a load of dusty old blokes including a non-chairman who said they’d installed a sink in the changing rooms for women refs.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. Promise a man someone else's fish and he votes Labour.

I think the game in this country is still top heavy with the old boys network. Our board resembles the Politburo. No diversity there of any kind, and it shows in how the club is run.

It's getting a bit much, the last few months the media have really gone for it. Pushing womens football at every opportunity and somehow expecting the public to take a female footballer seriously when she has 100 caps for England commentating on Premier league games. I feel for the poor blokes who have lost their jobs because they aren't female.

It's funny none of these women Sky have presenting now look like a female Martin Keown!
