Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. Promise a man someone else's fish and he votes Labour.

It's perfect for Disley helping coaching the kids at Grimsby and playing part time at Cleethorpes is ideal.

That's what i was thinking. If he combines part time football with some coaching work, it's perfect for him. They are getting some team together down there.

Can see a few town fans popping down to see him play, extra £££ for them.

"Falls to Arnold... Arnold! That's it! Thats it! He's sealed it! Grimsby Town are back in the football league!!! Just a minute to go and Nathan Arnold makes it 3-1! Look at the scenes behind the goal! Look at the relief! The agony is finally over!!!"

Thank you Mr Corbyn (Steptoe), you are the best thing that has happened to the Conservatives for ages.

But according to some it is the biggest s****** ever and no one would ever want to come here. It does my head in it really does. Players from all over the country have moved here; a lot have stayed after finishing their playing careers and love it.

Most players will weigh up a move in terms of money, the clubs ambition, the manager and his playing style and location if it means a big upheaval for him (kids schooling etc) but we have managed to recruit thousands of players since I have been watching them.

Its when a player is sought after we struggle a bit - clubs in a division higher or that have more to spend on wages will win the race then.

Was talking to some Gainsborough fans at their place t'other week and they were saying he was keen on going to them and had even offered to buy out half his contract with Alfreton.

The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress.

Building something there at Clee. Hope it's not debt.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

That's a cracking signing.  Sure I won't be the only one who's more likely to visit on a Saturday/Tuesday when Town aren't playing.

With regards Ben Davies, has anyone else heard that he may be re-signing for us? I know it's been talked about a fair bit in recent weeks him signing for Clee Town but I thought this would have happened by now.  Last week I was told, for the life of me I can't remember who by or in what context, that he was in talks to sign up again with Town as a squad player to provide cover and help out with some coaching duties.
