At the end of the day we could’ve brought in anybody and anyone we’d get a pessimistic biased view from down the road ? But at the end of the day ? Who really cares ? I could look at Lincoln’s summer and say excrement like

“Danny Cowley not only hasn’t replaced goalkeeper Allsopp, he’s also not replaced his second choice keeper Paul Farman either. Promoting third choice keeper Josh Vickers and signing underwhelming Boreham Wood keeper Grant Smith. Also losing Alex Woodyard, Elliott Whitehouse and Ollie Palmer are blows that are only half soothed with O’Connor and Akinde. Overall Lincoln have taken a step sideways and shuffled back a bit this summer and where there rivals have strengthened Danny Cowley (who may look to a new job by Xmas) is in for a challenge if he wants to build on last year”

....but no one gives a excrement what I think certainly not Scotimp, Lee Frecklington or Grant Brown

The fact this guy paints Dembele as our best player from last season is enough to show his lack of knowledge just like said Imp would tell me Palmer isn’t fit to lace Akinde’s boots !

Pre season article says Town will do shite, fishy goes in to melt down, Town do shite. Happens pretty much every year. Hopefully we prove the vast majority of predictions wrong but the evidence suggests we won’t be romping away with the league this year!

Vickers was 1st choice till he injured his thigh and was out for 8 months ,Allsopp came in because Farmans confidence had been shattered.

Woodyard wanted out in January but Palmer and Whitehouse were not regulars hence they left.


Far too early to call things one win and the FGR game will be forgotten.
