I would regard 7th as par for the season because we have the 7th highest attendance, based on last year

MK Dons     9202
Lincoln City     8782
Notts County     7911
Swindon     6380
Northampton     5830
Tranmere     5139
Grimsby     4658
Carlisle     4609
Port Vale     4583
Cambridge Utd     4523
Oldham     4442
Mansfield     4309
Exeter     4037
Bury     3931
Crewe     3876
Newport County     3489
Colchester     3321
Cheltenham     3172
Yeovil     2941
Forest Green     2772
Stevenage     2611
Crawley Town     2268
Macclesfield     1831
Morecambe     1492

That's how I normally see things.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Both Tranmere and Macclesfield will have higher averages because they were successful, mid to bottom of our league and they would not have reached those figures.

Can't see Macclesfield getting more than 2500 and that includes away followings.

Dont forget that we were struggling at the wrong end of the table for much of the season. Our figure will rise by 1000ish iif we are doing well.

I think Port Vale might have a decent season I think they will be in with a shout for play offs so there attendences should go up, if Bury and Oldham are doing well they will get slightly bigger gates.

I expect Tranmere and Macclesfield gates to go down if there struggling. What a poor gate Mansfield was they where top 7 most of the season and there attendences where awful.

Based  on the squad so far....mid table. We'll be defensively ok but the lack of quality up front will see us draw too many winnable games to threaten the top 7

I think you're being optimistic with the squad so far........thank feck I haven't bought another season ticket........I'll still probably attend nearly every home game though.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

A fan who goes to every home game without a season ticket is actually giving the club more money than someone who has a season ticket

Avoid relegation is going to be our realistic par.

I would say seeing as the club is going through a transition period, re off field and on field, I'd be happy with mid table as long as we are entertained throughout the season then kick on in the 2019/2020 season...

After last seasons horror show, it would be a relief not to be in a relegation scrap.

That said, I am hoping for above midway.

I'd be very happy with a top ten finish, and really delighted if we made it to the play offs.
