True, the bookmakers have us as very short odds favourites based on Sunderland being a big club by third tier standards. A play-off place maybe but top-three highly unlikely. At least there's a bit of excitement around the club after some very gloomy years. If any Sunderland supporter makes a crack about Mickey Mouse club you should feel free to slap them around the face with a wet haddock.
