Less important to me who wears the armband.
More important we have several characters like this in the team.

Macca, Collins and Welsh will all be the same leaders through the spine of our team whether they've got an armband on or not.

Exactly.  It's someone to flip the coin at the start of the game and to lift the trophy at the end of the season.

If we're to be successful we'll need a few leaders on the pitch and in the dressing room.
