When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Interesting interview with Rhys Jahoo's (sp?) dad. That's a big move for a 16 year old. Expect he'll have culture shock. Hope he settles well and thrives with the other lads.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Also interesting that Wilko spotted him in the US

That was a really good little video. Very interesting. Roger jaroo comes over as a top bloke.

Woods' confidence, enthusiasm and positivity stands in marked contrast to Wilkinsons hang dog negative persona. Perhaps explains why one was kept and the other went on his way

I believe that a lot of extra effort will go into the youth team this year with Jolley's attitude to players with ability regardless of age getting a fair chance. this could transfer through to better quality players signing up rather than going for the big team and disappear for years route.

Is it Chelsea who signed a 16 year old and he has been loaned out for the last 4 years ?? No chance of a first team appearance, then ??

is it just the big team name that keeps players like this without league appearances until 22 or 23, and why the age leagues like the U23 have been started to give them game times?
