Pleased for Lingard, they seem to have picked him out for some rough treatment.

That penalty was ridiculous lol. The guy wrestled Kane to the floor and held him down. How they could argue or VAR could spend time looking over the decision I don't know.

I normally feel sympathy for the little countries. But not this lot. They should be playing rugby. It suits them better.

I think from watching their manager speaking with Southgate and the way their players have started the second half that they’ve been warned about their bullying etc

I think we were 5-0 up against Luxembourg in a Euro qualifier in the late 90s. Owen scored in the 2nd half to make it 6-0

6-0 Kane lucky with the goal.

Absolutely class today, we’ve been clinical and professional in when why’ve tried to kick lumps out of us. Lingard has been exceptional this afternoon.

It’s been an exciting game to watch so far!

Come on England.

If identical after that it’s drawn lots. Seems a bit daft that. If only there was some sort of ranking system they could use.

I can't believe no one predicted the correct score and I don't think there'll be many bonus points on goals scored after the last 2 games in Englands group.

I would like to issue with the suggestion above that Slade would have beaten Panama.

When he had Kane at Orient he played him as an attacking midfielder for some time.  Surprised that he did not try him in goal.

Very sloppy second half . 1-1 second half against Panama, not good enough. Too much tippy tappy crap football which obviously, a lot of the players cannot do competently.

How many teams that are 5-0 up at half time come out and play the same in the 2nd half ?

The match was won and players eased off saving their energy for another day.

What a bunch of thugs, cheats, whiners, whingers, and moaners Panama are.

A disgrace. They may win the odd Oscar, but not many football games.

What has annoyed me about this world cup is the amount of times players fall to ground when an opposition player is near them.  Panama won a lot of freekicks were they weren't even fouls....especially Rubens yellow card.

Belgium will be the test....and who i think will go far.

They are going to increase the number of teams in the 2026 world cup which means that their will be a lot more smaller teams like Panama kicking lumps out of the bigger nations.

The most impressive thing about our performance today is how we dealt with playing a team more interested in playing Rugby. We kept calm and destroyed them, England sides of old, certainly in my generation, would’ve crumbled and struggled today.

Completely agree. We should only have the competent teams like Italy and Argentina there kicking lumps out of the other teams.

Belgium will be the test....and who i think will go far.

It will be a boring 0-0 draw with neither side wanting to get injured booked or sent off,

They will both save their energy for the game (s) to come.
