Seen a tweet late last night on Twitter saying we were looking at taking Aiden O'Neill on a year long loan from Burnley.  Don't know how true this is, just passing on what I saw last night.

Never heard of him, according to the fountain of knowledge that is Wikipedia he’s made 3 senior appearances in the Premier League, and has spells on loan with Oldham and Fleetwod. 1 goals in 21 for the latter last season, also an Australia U23 international. Would make sense with the MJ > Burnley connection, I thought it was only a matter of time before we were linked to a Burnley youngster

Described as box to box ball winning midfielder. Seems to have been well liked at Oldham and Dyche has said previously that he expects O'Neill to be around the first team squad at some stage

Sounds as if things didn’t quite work out at Fleetwood and a move to Scunny didn’t happen in Jan as was predicted. Maybe a springboard for him to ressurect his career?
