Amond for me.

I absolutely loved watching Livvo play but if we're sticking to the Fishy Era basis, he was mainly used as a centre back with the odd going up front before niggling injuries took hold and then ultimately that horrific injury that all but ended his career.  I seem to remember him wearing 14 as a squad number too.  Was it only his final season that he wore 10?

In his prime here, 93 to say 98, he was bloody brilliant.  A sheer battering ram which was in complete contrast to the nine-stone technicians that surrounded him.  It's an old cliche but he wasn't bad for a big man either but his strength was as that brute force to ruffle feathers.   Even to this day I love watching his scrap with Shaun Teale in the FA Cup.  Just two hard blokes going at it, battle to decide who's the toughest.

Hearn, as pointed out by others, was electric and after so many seasons of dross it was such a pleasure to see a player who had that ability to get you out your seat.  For a period he really did look like he would score every time the ball came near him.  He got stronger and stronger during that spell too.  Similar to Michael Reddy really in that injury deprived us of seeing how far he could go (with us and at a higher level) but ultimately his contributions were quite short.

Amond, got us back in the league.  It's that simple.  Don't care that it was 5th tier, don't care that he was arguably a flat-track bully.  Without his monster haul of goals we wouldn't have even featured in the play-offs that season.

I reckon it would be possible to make a decent side out of those with squad numbers higher than 11.

McKeown (13), Lump (19), Pouton (26).

Err.
