Honestly can't believe that no one has gone for Lewis Gobern yet.

He made more of a mark on the team than all the others. (Allegedly).

Pouton had an all action style but a poor 1st touch which often resulted in a 50/50 tackle ( which tbf, he usually won)

But Donovan never managed to score an own goal from the centre circle! Pouton's came from a poor touche followed by a block tackle, as I recall. A touch unfortunate, it must be said.

Pouton for me. Donovan was incredible in 97/98 but I didn't think he really excelled after we got promoted. Pouton was the driving force in our midfield for a few years.

Really difficult one, Kevin Donovan was immense in the 97/98 season, but will go with Pouton for his overall contribution at Championship level.
