I think white socks look good, could have a bit of red trim in the kit to compensate

They've just released a sneak peek of the back, got the red piping on the shoulders like a lot of the shirts from the 80's had. Wouldn't be surprised if it was a throwback to this one. https://goo.gl/images/MiZzrq

Red socks are part of our identity... sets us apart from other clubs that play in black and white stripes.

I mean, I'm hugely biased but I think they look smart. When I see Notts County, Newcastle, etc, I kind of feel sorry for them that they haven't got the red that we have to make it a bit better and a bit classier.

Anyone know if there are any 'leisure' shirts ( polo's etc) in the club shop or is it just old stuff alongside the replica shirts?

I was in there Monday, there is a leisure range with a distressed printed logo... Looks rather different.
