That's a good Scottish-English word. I was introduced to that years ago by an Endinburger (whatever the correct term is). I enjoyed using it for a while just to see the look of bemusement on people's faces.

Edinburger is definitely a word.

Although in Glasgow they’re usually referred to by a certain woman’s part. And a rather harsh version of it.

Check the link below. Monday night amateur game in deepest Ayrshire - not far from where I watch my football - and that's the real beauty of the non league game up here.

No attempt at ethical or social seduction can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred of the Tory party. So far as I'm concerned they're lower than vermin. Aneurin Bevan.

Would that be the woman's part that Meryl Streep played in the Iron Lady? Or would that be too harsh a term even for Glaswegians to use of Edinburgh folk?

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

That's taking it a bit too far

This is just a backdoor attempt by the evil SFL to introduce English and Irish clubs into the Scottish leagues, Jock should vote with his feet and not attend any of these games

Too right.....Under 20's, Scottish , Welsh, Irish and now English teams ?  What a mish mash.
