But if you don't have a home grown academy product in your matchday squad of 18 this coming season, you lose a spot on tour bench so can only name 6 subs.

The following season it extends to two places so if you don't have 2 home growns in your 18 you can only have 5 subs, and 6 subs if you only have 1 home grown


There could be a few benches players light in year 2 then.It sure gives any Town Academy players some hope if they can get close.

Does Asante qualify?

How long do you have to be in the Academy to qualify for this? Is it worth scouting other clubs academy's for possible players.
