You could be right but after seeing how England  defended yesterday and reverted to type in the second half, I’d have some worries about Tunisia and Belgium if I was Southgate.

Dyer was poor but if he brings Henderson in it will be even worse. Ray Wilkins used to be called the Crab but Henderson must be the Lobster. Sideways and backwards all day long.

England  were quite good first half because Nigeria stood off and let them do their thing. Very pretty to watch. Once Nigeria stepped up and pushed England back they had no answers. It was so easy. Other coaches will know this. You have to fight for the right to play and England just don’t know how to do that without getting a red card.
