My point was if you read fans reviews from clubs. Invariably if they are mostly negative. The player we see is as they describe. Sam Kelly for example. Players like Alan Connell and Podge Amond although they didn't tear their leagues up were still highly thought of and when they played you could see why. Just saying Nolan bucked the trend doesn't blow the theory out of the water.

Now that I am on role of completely useless facts I seem to recall kid in our class, a border at De Aston called Kevin Skane Davies, was once brother in law to Clive, first marriage I believe, but could be bollox and my memory playing me up.

Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them. GOD
