I'm sure I read something a few months ago about EFL matches being streamed live on i-Follow next season at a cost/game. IT will cover all matches other than those played on a Saturday afternoon.
Was this a figment of my imagination, brought on by our dazzling football under Mr Slade - or does anyone have information to back this up?

Currently it's only available if you are outside the UK. Think it cost me 6 euros when I did it for the Barnet game.

They've cracked down on that it doesn't work anymore

It does work. They can't crack down on it. If you have a VPN, you can watch any Town game live on the league for a fiver or six euros.

I was using a VPN last season and they very much knew I was using a VPN the last few games. Same as how Netflix know you're using a VPN.

What made you think that? Did you receive an email from them, or an on screen message? No problems here.

I was using NordVPN and managed to watch a couple of league 2. night games early on in the season but not a Town match. Then when I wanted to watch a Town match on one occasion when I couldn't attend, put my position on VPN to Netherlands, where I had used for the two previous occasions and it came up on the screen that live coverage of the match could not be viewed from my location, switched to different country and it came up the same. I was on hols in Spain this february and tried connecting on ifollow and it wouldn't give me the option to view, only listen. I had a feeling they have cottoned on to who could be using VPN. I've now cancelled my subscription with Nord and just listen on my IFollow account to any games I cant attend.

Yeah, they were on a stream though, not directly from IFollow.

Me too, I have Nord VPN. Had the same issue once or twice. I changed the password, rebooted and tried again and it worked everytime. I had been a little too generous with my log in details I think. If you're abroad, you don't need to use your VPN unless you are using your UK registered phone's data as it tracks back to the UK. Use wifi abroad and you should be fine.

I think they did crack down on several VPN providers from the Swindon game onwards. It was like that had blocked a range of IP addresses from each provider. Which clients were continuing to work?

I had no real problems that couldn't be solved by a reboot. I tried to use close IP's such as France, Belgium and Holland. Had a couple of 'not available from your location' messages despite choosing my country but a reboot sorted it, if not a password change did.

Ha, it's a Virtual Private Network. Software that for all intents and purposes makes you anonymous on the Internet. Can help with stuff like phishing (where your details are stolen by rogue websites and hackers). You can choose what country you want to 'connect' to which for this case, makes it possible to watch IFollow as it thinks you are abroad. Also handy if you want to watch things that are restricted to a certain country. American Netflix etc, the Chinese and other countries can use a VPN to access content that is banned by their country. Doesn't have to be nefarious, I think China or Iran banned Facebook etc. A big plus point is being able to watch Kodi and download torrents without your IP (your computer network) being logged and possibly being reported to your ISP or even sued by the content owner. I think that's the gist of it, I'm no expert but it is easy and user friendly. Buy subscription, download software, create account, connect to whatever country you want. I had a season pass last season, I went to a lot more games than I watched on IFollow but it was handy for Tuesday night away games, I'm self employed and up early Wednesday morning so unlikely to travel away Tuesday's, but if I can watch the game in HD in my living room for a fiver, it's great!

So you need software and not the Windows standard VPN setup. I sometimes have to use VPNs at work to connect to clients networks which then allows me to connect to a remote desktop connection. Might take a look later.

Yep, NordVPN is user friendly and you can get a good deal.
