the magic of the FA Cup is more aimed at little clubs getting one over the big guns.  The magic of the FA Cup for me isn't about Chelsea vs Man Utd but more who can lower league clubs knock out lol.

We have not had a decent cup run for years,

Lets hope as well as a promotion push next season we can have a good cup run.

That should give MJ a bit more funds for another step forward the following season.

I am not counting the non league cup runs.

Quoted from fishyfanny

A team wearing blue, beat a team wearing red 1-0. That's all you need to know

It wouldn't surprise me if that meant Man Utd won with both teams playing in change strips to sell more! But i made the mistake of looking at the back pages of the Mirror in the barbers this morning. Damn. I reckon I would have made it through the day without finding out.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

I went to the Cup Final, as I do every year as I enjoy the weekend out. The pubs are killing this event for those that like a drink before and after the game, £6 a pint in every pub we visited within reach of Wembley! We use to really enjoy all the singing and banter that happens leading up to Kick Off but this year the places were virtually empty. We still enjoyed the weekend but it is getting harder to do so.

One Step Beyond.
