Yeah, the club exercised their right to extend his contract, it was not Clifton’s choice, although the fact he agreed to the original contract suggests, correctly, this is what he wanted anyway.

Same with Dembele and Hall-Johnson.

Pleased with this signing as he's been a very solid player since he joined. Guessing we'll not generally be playing with wing-backs with him as first choice so likely a flat back four next season.

He gets forward well, but not convinced he's a wing-back style of player. They tend to start further up the pitch and then try to get forwards from there, usually with a bit of pace. Fox has been on some good runs and is deceptively tricky when going forward, but you wouldn't ever accuse him of being nippy.

Regardless, I doubt many would be upset with this signing as he did an excellent job for us after joining.

I'm ignoring the off field stuff and the same tired old regime. Just hope Jolley can circumvent the boardroom and bring us some decent footy and a few home wins. I'd take that for now.
