Well done Paul

Personally never claimed he was a bad manager. It was though very poor to take the urine like that on a day that should have been about unbridled joy. You celebrate your victories with dignity, he chose that moment to stick two fingers up, the chippy little twit. Once again that doesn’t make him any less effective as a manager, just more of a twit.

If only it worked that way. Everyone gets £7m so you need to spend it just to have a hope of matching everyone else's wages. Even if it was ten times amount that it would all be spent on wages. Whenever clubs get a new source of income all that happens is the players' wages go up by an equivalent amount.
OR we Could get promoted to the championship, pay Fenty off. Get a nice healthy bank balance and get new investors in and not increase the playing budget to greatly the first season. If we go down then we're back in league 1, with fresh beginnings, no debt. If we somehow survive on a shoe string budget then we move forward from there.

Hurst got loads of abuse from Town fans, he kept quiet and then when he had the chance he gave a little dig back.
He's human.
Mitch Rose gave a 'sssh' signal to the Pontoon after he scored a crucial penalty a few weeks back, no doubt in response to some of the criticism he's received. Again, he's human.
Cupping of the ear, raising a finger to a closed mouth....it's hardly offensive is it! Not compared to some of the abuse thrown at them.
Absolute non-issue and it still seems to upset people, 24 months on and 3 managers down the line.
Well done to Hurst and The Shrews. I thought Charlton would do them over the two legs.

Having watched the scunts game versus Rotherham I think Shrewsbury look better than both of those and will win the final, then I wouldn't be surprised if he dropped a division to take the Sunderland job

Interesting shout. No doubt they could offer a very attractive pay packet but surely he'd love a crack at the Championship.

It's a good thing social media wasn't around when Buckley was in charge as he too was a 'chippy little tw@t' and would probably have been dismayed by comments on sites such as this one, and tempted to leave the club. Hurst brought us back from the wilderness despite the antagonism towards him by some people. Then when he left, we spent the next 18 months in freefall to the point where we were once again teetering on the edge of non-league oblivion. Yes, we were spoilt. But we never fukking learn , do we?

Most of the Shrewsbury players are shitting themselves in case they win at Wembley and they are in the 80% of the squad which Hurst will immediately decide are just not good enough for the next step up.

East Clay and Marshall
I note you conveniently omit those Hurst and Fenty allowed to leave without a fight by not offering a sufficient incentive to stay. Nolan (now doing absolutely brilliantly at Shrews) Toto, Amond, Tait, Arnold
