I think the secret here with our new manager is to keep our expectations low and sensible, for example, we would all like not to go through what we went through this year & be fighting for league 2 existence, anything more than that would be brilliant, and should we be lucky & good enough of having a chance to reach the playoffs that would also be brilliant, i'm just trying to be sensible & realistic holding back from any chance of getting carried away because we all know what happens when you start doing that, the opposite happens.

I can’t think of anything of significance that fans would say Jolley has done wrong since joining the club? Great results, teams selections that largely agreed with fans’ opinions (more importantly picked up points), great PR which no one minds, relsesed the players we all wanted gone (okay maybe half of us would have kept mills instead of Woolford, but I think we can all see his thinking here) and most importantly kept us in the league.

What a gem, give that man a longer contract or we’ll find ourselves managerless in November.

Enjoy the World Cup boys, we’re gonna have fun next year.

Not quite sure that's true. The team that has been winning has Woolford, Hooper, Rose, Clarke, RHJ and Cardwell. I don't think a fans consensus would have had any of those in the team 6 weeks ago, certainly not the first 4.

My only very, very, very slight criticism of him would be i would have liked to have seen more of Suliman at CB but even then i can understand why he went for the experienced partnership in Clarke and Collins at such a vital part of the season.

Otherwise I can’t really say he’s anything wrong at all, so far. Out of interest, anybody able to tell me whay Jolleys record is in terms of wins, draws, losses etc along with his current points total?

Nothing.

An absolutely flipping brilliant move by Fenty then. Well done John! Saved our season, great appointment.

Played 10 win 4 drawn 3 lost 3 that's 1.5 points per game ,which over the season would have us knocking on the door of the play offs.

If we take co v as the low point we won 4 n free 2 of our last 7 and the last 5 was won 4 drew 1.
I'm finding it difficult not to get a little bit excited about next season
