Well we just don't know do we Ginny because Mr Fenty refused to answer the question posed by Pete. Which is suspicious because he's only too willing to say other managers have been on/are on 6 month rolling contracts.

I think like most there are no surprises, feel a bot for Mills as I reckon he had a good start under Hurst and went backwards under Bignot & Slade's stupidity, but he is not great at retaining possession.
Woolford I think has been a bit lucky but certainly looked better as he got fitter and moved into a more central role, after a full pre season I'm optimistic he can make a difference.
So a few questions remain,
- How many of the lads offered deals will sign?
- If any of them don't has MJ got a back up plan.
- How quickly can we pull a squad together? "last minute.com" has led to a lack of quality in the last 2 seasons.

Good luck to Mills.
A few posters say that he has gone backwards. Ironic when he is good at getting forwards. His crosses are are often poor though, which gives possession to the opposition. Mills is then stranded out of position. Any attack could then be targetted down his side and put us under threat. I think best for both parties if he moves on to a new club.
The other decisions on players also look good. There appears to be good reasons behind each decision.

i reckon we need
1 keeper 1 right back 3 central defenders
Mid looks full already but i think we need some more quality
Need 2 strikers. one being a good support to link play.
we do have some reasonably young players that could improve dramatically in hall-johnson, clifton, wright , rose, cardwell, Akheem. even hooper to some extent.
I think next seasons surprise will be mitch rose though, think he has had a better season than summerfields first though and can kick on in the same vain as he did.
Bye Bye Berret, never want to put a player down but the most ineffectual player i have seen in some time.
I'd be happy with a wicket keeper / batsman and a finger spinner who could produce a fizzing Doozra. A decent scrum half and a hooker, and we'd certainly baffle the opposition manager and his pre match tactics. [/quote] I'd go for Derek Underwood up front - he would finish any team off. Boycott as the tidy sweeper at the back with real hardcase second row enforcer type alongside him - someone with a real mean stare that will "manage" the ref - Martin Johnson or Lawrie Dallaglio. We need an elegant playmaker in midfield - I'd go for Gower - leftie as well - always an advantage. Then we need a box to box, gobby, little twaty sort of player - always annoying the oppo and getting them booked / sent off - Oz Healey...

I think it was said that Slade was on a rolling contract, but the length of contract was not specified. Though i could be imagining that.

Surprised people questioning Woolford. He's been absolutely fantastic under Jolley.
Seems a sensible list to me. Focus budget in the priority areas - new CB, new wingers and STRIKERS!!!
Everyone also assuming that those offered contracts will stay and be first choice. Wouldn't be surprised if Woolford, Collins and Summerfield have been offered reduced terms.
I wouldn't say he has been fantastic by any stretch of the imagination. He has been cack for most of the season, yes he had improved but was poor against FGR, can't tackle and often gets caught in possession. I would love to be proved wrong but looks a barmy decision to me.

Oh. Never understood why JF wouldn't give Pete a straight answer.

No to Jackson for me. Into his thirties, on the way down, picking up injuries. Would like somebody on the way up from the Conference or someone who's scored goals in L2 last season and now out of contract.
If we could....but I think it unlikely any such player exists! Teams retain goalscorers,, normally.
