Couple of wonder saves from Macca, as well as the goals.

What a wonderfully-crappy goal for JJ's first , followed by a good goal followed by an absolute peach. Hooper showed good finishing instincts in the box through the season but this was a revelation, hitting from that distance...was he simply told 'none of that please' by Slade I wonder.

I remember someone on here saying when MJ came he sat down with each player and asked them what their strengths were. Im sure that is why JJ has sparked into life. He is playing in a way that suits him to score goals from rather than what Slade kept telling him to do if he wanted to stay in the team

Hooper and Rose have been a revelation under MJ.  Be interesting to see who is released next week and I am looking forward to seeing who he brings in.

Same but I’m also interested to see who he can make better?

Wow, some great build up play there. We totally sliced them open quite a few times.

Was it Woolford with them nice backheels on the right side a few times?

And Rose looks so confident!

Watching the highlights we got a free kick just in our half and we took it quick resulting in the keeper having to rush out to claw it of Hoppers head. We would never had done that under Slade, we would have had to wait for our players to get forward and then lob it towards their penalty area.

I wouldn't use the words "a revelation" certainly an improvement over the crap performances of most of the season so no real applause from me, just why didn't they play like that before we were deep in excrement.

I don't accept the excuse that some give that it was the previous manager's fault, may be so with tactics but not personal performances.

I was a departmental manager who reported to a complete anus of a director but it didn't prevent me from wanting to do my best in my own job and that of my department's.
