Congratulations to Michael Jolley on turning Slade's misfits into a team who look like a team.

Whoever is in charge of GTFC in the foreseeable future, please don't let this happen again!

Those who run the club should put out a statement apologising for this season and their role in what went on. They should get the season tickets on sale this week with people having enjoyed what was probably the best game of the season. They should be offering a handsome discount on season tickets renewed early on, instead of the planned rise in prices.

I can’t imagine we will say any of this happen. We will likely end up with a price rise or freeze and tickets on sale after every other club in the country.

This has been an appalling season, the decisions and communication from the directors have been awful. Let’s not forget why in a season with a stated target of the playoffs we only secured our safety in the last home game of the season. We had a warning the season before the last time we got relegated.

I would like to see a good offer to all the STH this season,

For putting up with all the crap before MJ turned things round a 20% reduction if they renew.

Aye. Act now to promote season tickets. And get something sorted out for shift workers.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

I think it’s worth reaffirming how much of a mess Slade made and how well Jolley has done to clear it up.

Up The Mariners!

Of course we don't want to be jubilant at just staying in the league, but at the same time we shouldn't deny ourselves a bit of celebration at a superb mini-season and finding a manager who can take the club forward, and who has given us a shot at doing things properly next season.

The club should be using this deliverance, this brief period of Euphoria to take advantage and start getting things right for next season, in a way they failed to do after the promotion season:

-  Get season tickets on sale now
-  have some early bird offers
-  let people pay over the three paydays between now and August
-  sort something out for shift workers
-  have some sort of Exiles membership scheme

And also carry on with the things that have worked well in the last few months:

-  Keep Fenty in his broom cupboard and out of the media (ideally, he goes, but that's another issue)
-  Keep the better music and sound system
-  Keep the improved social media and content
