The God of Football offers you a point against Notts County. Do you stick or twist?
I think I'd take the point as it means (worst case) we'd only need a draw against VGR,

I would settle for a point ...... as long as Barnet had to do the same.

I would rather go to FGR needing a draw than a win,
So yes I would be happy with a draw,
BUT
Got a feeling Morecombe will beat Barnet.

I'd also stick. Worst case scenario at the, er, Morecambe ground, it would put us ahead of them going into the last game.
On the other hand, I'd happily lose 6-0 tomorrow if Barnet don't win.

This is one of those games were all eyes will be on what happens in the other game, as it will sweep across the stadium if there is a goal at Morecambe.
I know people will say lets take care of our game, but it is human nature. In answer to the question yes I would take a draw; Notts are a decent side that have found a bit of form and desperately need to win themselves so a draw would make the last game slightly easier if the other result goes against us. I hope it gets settled tomorrow as I don't want my miserable prediction of dropping into the bottom 2 on the final day to see the light of day.I have had a bad feeling about this season since it all started to go wrong but I know that is balanced out with posters who are confident we will be safe and I hope, pray that they are right.

i would 100% take a point now. Notts Co are in great form and while we've improved lately we still find it extremely difficult to create any chances. I think we've got a massive task on to even avoid defeat.
Also, a point means that Morecambe would need something at Coventry next week (assuming Barnet beat them) for us to even need that extra point at FGR.

I've had the same feeling for ages, that we would drop into the bottom two sometime during the last game and FGR to relegate us. It could even be in the final minute, as it was for Hartlepool last season. Praying Morecambe do the business for us.

Could be one of those weird days tomorrow where we lose but end up celebrating thanks to Morecambe whilst Notts Co leave feeling pretty miserable as Wycombe and Exeter have both won.

My thoughts exactly. Notts really will be going at us for the win and for us to get a draw will require a lot of luck by our defence.

If we're safe at the end of the game tomorrow, and after what's gone on this season, there shouldn't be a single person in the stadium that offers him a handshake, hug or thumbs up let alone carry him above their shoulders..

Bloody right I would.
If Barnet win tomorrow and then beat Chesterfield and Morecambe lose at Cov then a point tomorrow would keep us up even if we lost to the veggies

I hope there aren't any 'celebrations' tomorrow.
Even if we survive it shouldnt be cause for celebration, just revolution. This season has been an unmitigated disaster

Agreed......on the original question I would take a point now even if it isn't enough to keep us up this Saturday.

I think any celebrations would just be a display of pure relief.

If we are safe at the end of the game tomorrow, then the fans of this great club need to ensure it is Fenty’s last home game as non-chairman. By crook or by hook that man must be removed. Achieving league two safety is not to be celebrated. We should never have been placed in this situation in the first place. OFF season = Operation Remove Fenty. He cannot be trusted!

I'd take the point.
Then, If we aren't already safe tomorrow night it means Morecambe have to get something at Coventry even if we lose at FGR. A big ask.
Yes please.

I'd 100% take a point, I'd feel like we're pretty much safe... If Barnet don't win we are safe. If they somehow get a win then we will be 3 ahead of them and 1 ahead of Morecambe. I can't see Morecambe getting anything at Coventry, so in a big twist they'd go down as I expect Barnet to beat Chesterfield.

Michael Jolley emphatically answered this question, and his answer was 'no'. Injury time drawing 1-1 and under pressure he brought another striker on. I'm glad he's a much braver man than me as I would have got 10 men behind the ball desperately clinging to a point.

Yes but he knew Barnet were winning unlike everyone who responded.
