They could sell Wembley and use the money to build a new national stadium in the midlands.

Should do that with the Houses of Parliament which is going to cost billions to bring up to modern standards.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Can't understand why anyone would prefer the old Wembley. It was crap. The seats were miles from pitch and very basic. The facilities were limited.

The new Wembley is vastly better. The view is superb from every seat, the catering is far superior and the toilets clean.

and smelt of cat urine and crap, bit like the top of the main stand

It's not an authentic footballing experience if you're not wading through pools of urine and wads of screwed up toilet paper to get to the urinals. Modern day stadia have taken all the authenticity put of the game.

Build it at Great Coates and we can share it. We're in the middle of the county, just a bit to one side

If it was privately owned could that mean a significant rise in the cost of tickets, just wondering in case we make the play-off final next year...........

.....and the FA Trophy Final.

Couldn't give a crap who owns it. It's just a stadium. Didn't it cost more and take a longer to build than was originally planned? Built by a German company wasn't it
If it was flattened tomorrow would it make any difference? The cup final being the exception

Christ you all wanted him sacked a few months ago. 6th place finish and he's now the messiah and can do no wrong
Update:  I think I've got this right - He was the messiah. He then wasn't. He then was again. Then it turned out he actually wasnt. He turned into one big huge messiah again. Now he's not actually the messiah we thought he was . Now I'm hoping he rises again quickly

Well it's just the businesspeople who are running our game being businesspeople, isn't it?

As a fan I rather resent being viewed as a customer.

Customers: presumably satisfied returners plus a few hopeful first-timers. Your very presence in their establishment signifies hope or approval.

Fans: I don't care how much you paid for the football club because what you bought was built with fans' money anyway.
You're just temporary....it's our establishment. We can do 3 20+ winless streaks, lest you forget.

Have had a few bevies btw...

Wouldn't it be...well, wonderful, if JF could move away in a dignified manner. The club's image could stand it.

Or sell it and take back the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park ( West Ham’s ground) back, since we already pay so much of their bills anyway.

Spurs would have to play at the Hive until White Hart Lane is completed.
