But they need a result on Saturday against Barnet now, which is what we wanted!

I'll take that all day long. Morecambe are draw specialists and if they draw again Saturday, themselves and ourselves are safe.

FGR also safe, so they may have their flip flops on when we play them.

Means we MAY only need one point now if Morecambe lose their last 2 games. Would of preferred a Cambridge win but even so, our chances just improved a bit tonight.

Not a bad result for us  in the grand scheme of things as they'll still need to get something at Barnet rather than being on the beach already.

Surprise surprise......Yeovil and FGR play out a goal less draw and are now both safe.

Could an advantage for us last game.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

The fact that they held a useful Cambridge side means that they are no mugs. We don't actually want them to be easy pickings for Barnet because anything other than a Barnet win means we are safe.

Morecambe know that it will be tough to get anything at Coventry and so it's now a must win (or draw at least) for them against Barnet. They are going to pull out all the stops to get a result against Barnet.

I think we will be safe come Saturday night whatever happens against Notts.

Morecambe cannot rely on us losing both our last games, so they need something from the Barnet game. Will probably lose at Coventry on the last day.
We just need a point or 3 on Saturday to seal it.
Both Yeovil and Forest Green are now safe.

Thank you Mr Corbyn (Steptoe), you are the best thing that has happened to the Conservatives for ages.

Against a Cambridge team with absolutely nothing to play for that is a decent result for us, I did not expect better but I did fancy a nil nil. Cov do not look like they can be trusted at home though utm

Morecambe are at home Les, so they will want to wrap it up there and then.
