Must admit I'd completely forgotten about him, until seeing his name on another thread.

How key has he been to Forest Green's upturn in results? Will they miss him on the last day of the season? (I presume he can't play against his parent club?).

FGR haven't exactly stormed up the league though have they? So would he have made us any stronger anyway?

Just a thought...

High earner, lives more than an hour away from the club.  No chance he'll be given a new deal, regardless of if Jolley rates him or not.

I don't think it has as much to do with him joining but more the others they signed.
hes stated in 9 of the 17 games since joining and been subbed in 7 of them scoring a massive 1 goal for them

Coincidence on one hand ... invaluable squad player on the other ... the point stands ,they have leap frogged us since he arrived.

That's 1 goal more than some of our midfielders.

Budget? Just look at Accrington... You don't need a massive budget. This isn't the premier league

Accrington have the 23rd highest budget but the lowest is Morecambe who may be relegated. A decent budget clearly helps, Accrington the exception rather than the rule

Accrington Stanley founded in 1891 and reformed in 1968 after going bust,

Have just obtained their first promotion in the football league,

Its been a long time coming but I don't think we should follow their example.

This only works when you have good management matched by good recruitment.

I bet chairmen up and down the country are sick of hearing about Accy Stanley.

"Boo, why can't we win the league with no money"?

Ipswich fans have driven Mick McCarthy out of his job because he couldn't.

If clubs over achieve on their budget e.g. Stoke City, time or misfortune in terms of injuries or bad recrutement catches up on them eventually unless some sugar dadddy comes along. Best to enjoy your luck while you have it
