Just listened to MJ'S interview with Burnsey. He was clearly upbeat but at the same time realistic and not getting carried away. He was on the front foot with Burns who was very circumspect and nearly, but not quite complimentary of MJ and his team. Impressive.

Very 'muted' from Burns especially as he alledgedly described Jolley as 'all talk and no trousers'. He did of course love Phil Brown mind

Don’t know if anyone’s noticed but in Burns first interview when MJ asked his name he said “Burnsey” which MJ called him although that interview.

Now it’s a very cold “David” 😆

Burns is good and experienced, but Jolley is cleverer.

Burnsey suggested to Jolley that we only needed another point.......not sure about that !

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

When did Burns say that, how would he know after so few games? If he knew that maybe he is in the wrong job and should be in the dug out.

I like it when he interviews Adkins, Nigel just wipes the floor with him as he's too honest for Burns and completely takes away any opportunity he has to ask probing questions.

Burns has been a local radio broadcaster for all those years for a reason, and it ain't because he's a football expert or cutting edge broadcaster.

He’s won several national awards for journalism and I realise not everyone’s cup of tea but his interviewing and commentating is far better than all the others who do it locally
