Just had a look at his eskiilstuna squad. Jernade mead e English left winger and abdu l razzak  a forward who's played in England before look possibles.haris cirak is a a creative midfielder and good passer.there's a few others ludvig ohman, ferid ali, sasa matic, oma r eddhari , abdul razzak ,Sharif Muhammad ,Alex michel,chidi omeje, and anel ruskaj were regulars from that season but lots are still playing top flight in Sweden and are a myriad of nationalities so would probably be problems with work permits

We are a club out on a limb geographically speaking. In the lower leagues there arent many on 2+ year contracts so he is going to have problems getting players over the line for us who have families settled in say Lancashire who have offers from clubs close at hand who wont move to E Lincs for a 1 year contract or even 2. L2 dont do 3 year contracts.

Shouldnt think there are many clubs within a 1 hour journey of Grimsby. Perhaps someone could tell us as im not local now.
Its OK having principles but if we stay in L2 the fans will expect us to challenge for promotion next season and telling them we cant get the players we need wont go down very well because of this rule.





MJ has been very measured in all the statements he has made. I don't think he would have mentioned a " 1 hour travelling limit " in his recruitment policy unless he was confident that he could apply it.

Can’t see a professional club such as ours having a problem with work permits.

As for the Jolley appreciation.

I see his hair had some lovely volume to it at the weekend and the sides were nice and short.
He looks very smart in his shirt and tie too doesn’t he?

All this praise is fine. Will the fans stick by him next season if we lose 3 on the bounce? We are not renowned for our patience. Even King Buckley was not immune from calls for his head, and we all remember the Hurst Out banner on the flyover not long before he took us to Wembley. Fickle, fickle fickle.
