Anybody got details who is playing ?
I don’t do twitter or face thingy. I rely on a match thread for pre-match info.

Macclesfield crowned National League champions.

Chances are Wrexham will miss out on promotion again this season.

If we stay up bring back Shaun Pearson.

Why the hell am I so optimistic?! I’m bordering on pre-world cup “of course england are going to win it” optimism for us today even though I know deep down they’re going to let me down, just like they do every weekend.

But for the next 24 minutes, I’m going to sit here utterly convinced that by 5pm, we’ll be safe.

Spoke to a couple of Wrexham fans recently. They're not quite as keen on SP as they have been. Comments included, gives away too many needless free kicks, starting to make a few mistakes unlike earlier in the season and spends too much time arguing with referees..

Since I'm long past the time when I believed or hoped England would ever win anything so it is that I'm filled with nothing but pessimism that we we will be staring into the abyss come full time.
...... OK,  maybe I have a little bit of HOPE! UTM!!!

Burns just said Swindon have made six changes, incuding a rookie 18 year old at centre half

Hopefully we can take the game to them before they get in to their stride

Start well and force an early goal like we did at Wycombe and this could be our afternoon

Come on Town!

Weird thing football. I had two Wrexham ST holders stay at mine last weekend. ( one of them clueless and had £10 on a 2-2 draw) and they still love him.  But they did say the whole team has lost it since Keates fuckked off.

I think we need to match or better  their result or we are in serious trouble. We know that anyway but it would start getting critical.

Problem today is - Newport have nothing to play for (being mid - table) - just players seeing out their contracts. So Barnet likely victors.

Town have to hang on to not conceding today and even then - it's going to be tough!

Same old problems. Woolford in a great position to get a shot away but doesn't and then Cardwell inexplicably cannot get a touch on a cross that evaded their entire defence but Town definitely on top

Not saying this is your problem but a couple of times it hasn't recognised my password.

I've simply re registered the same password and everything was OK.

Think we're going to have to pull our socks up and try and go for the win to increase our points tally or else it'll be even more pressure for the last two games

It's a tricky one - If FGR win they pretty much can't get relegated so will be easier to play for us on the final day of the season. But likewise it'll make Barnet's life easier as well.

And spare a thought for Accrington Stanley who, already have gained promotion are 2 goals up at Wycombe(placed 3rd) ) away.

I think back to Town's victory at Stanley and think - what went wrong? And what went right for them?

They have a tactically inclined manager in Coleman who has an eye for a player

We had Russel Slade

Disagree big time. Whenever we do that we come unstuck!

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

The truth is a terrible thing but if we can just get over the line there will yet again be a massive squad turnover.

Oh to have a settled squad.

McSheffrey for Woolford with 10 minutes to go may secure a 2-0 win?

If we sit back hoping to soak up pressure they'll probably score. We really need a good counterattack plan to get another goal and kill the game off.

Don’t let a Barnett win take the shine off what (up to now) is a great result for us.
If we (as expected) had got nothing today it would be far worse.

I bet Barnett fans are more gutted than we are.

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Barnet will win the last two games against Morecambe and Chesterfield. Looks like Morecambe may be relegated with Chesterfield who are already down.

Well done to Michael Jolley and his team. Who wishes Phil Brown had got the Grimsby job now? Swindon have been rubbish since he took over.

Wow, how different does the table look now!

3 points between 18th and 22nd

Still a massive ask for Barnet to win two with the pressure on and Morecome scrapping for their lives too.

Well done town, massive 3 points

perfect world then, Cambridge do Morecambe midweek and then Morecambe do Barnet next weekend simples.
Of course Town could just go and take care of business and the above is irrelevant.

Call me a pessimist, but there is a nightmare scenario brewing where Town need to beat FGR to survive, in a match where a loss for FGR would send them down.

Yes bbc final score seemed to think the late morecambe loss had stopped them going down but that relys on morecambe and barnet both losing all their games which is impossible as they play each other

Morecambe back in trouble. Hopefully Cambridge do a number on them on Tuesday. Then they play Barnet, can’t both win!

Then they have Coventry final day.

Good win today. Barnet CANNOT drop any points. I know it's not a big ask for them to win both but.....Hopefully Morecambe will lose on Tuesday to Cambridge.

Morecambe could well lose their last 3 games but do you really see Chesterfield (-33 GD) winning their last 3 games and over coming a -15 goals against difference between them and Morecambe (-18 GD). Also Barnet would have to lose their last 2 remaining games when they have won 3 drawn 1 and lost 1 in their last 5 games.

If Carlsberg did relegation escapes.

My first game since Morecambe away. Not pretty but if effort and team spirit count for anything we should be safe.
Haven’t seen a loss this season - 2 away wins (PV and today) 2 home draws (Lincoln and Crawley) and the draw at Morecambe. Given the desperate situation I thought today’s performance was the best I’ve seen although clearly lack a clinical finisher.
Looking forward to Notts C.

Just a pity that County aren't out of the automatic promotion race. Their play-off spot is secure so they can come at us hell for leather next week. Hope we can nick a couple of early goals and then see it out!

No, I can't see them winning another game. But was just saying they won't have the "R" next to them in the table just yet as it's still mathematically possible for them to stay up.

We might yet need them to do us a favour though and take points off Barnet on the last day.

Let's hope that Cambridge beat Morecombe on Tuesday. Then Morecombe's home game v Barnet becomes a must win for them. If they beat Cambridge they are safe and probably easy pickings for a highly motivated Barnet side fighting for their lives.

We have two chances now. A win in either secures our place. Two draws would also be enough. I am hoping FGR are mathematically safe when we go there.

But I have a feeling that Barnet may drop points against Morecombe.

Just watched the highlights on Sky Sports, thought that ref looked familiar.  John Brooks, didn't like him as a ref in the non-league from the games we played at home. Seems to have done good this game lol!
