Afraid not as nothing on club website or twitter.

Would assume a more youthful one as the only names mentioned so far (from York's perspective) are Keeble, Buckley, Burrell, Battersby

Wonder how many of the young lads will be kept on... we should find out soon shouldn’t we?

"Falls to Arnold... Arnold! That's it! Thats it! He's sealed it! Grimsby Town are back in the football league!!! Just a minute to go and Nathan Arnold makes it 3-1! Look at the scenes behind the goal! Look at the relief! The agony is finally over!!!"

Looking at the First team header pic on the York City fc Twitter page, John Parkin looks like he's enjoying life away from VGR, instead of veggie burgers it now shows he must be eating loads of Yorkshire puddings or he has 3 match balls stuffed up his shirt.

Pollock was in my fantasy football team that was made up of ex-Town players and fish-themed players. Won the Cup and 2nd in the work league that year.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Injured, gone back to Derby. Don't think he will play again this season.

He was actually on trial with us, possibly during the Lennie Lawrence era where every player without a contract had a trial for us.   I think it was towards the end of his career, which he retired from quite young.  I saw him in a couple of reserve games where he stood out a mile with his technique and ability.  He was just three-stone too heavy and looked every part the stereotype of the Sunday League midfielder who has good feet for a big lad.

My memory could be playing tricks on me but I'm sure we had Carl Leaburn on trial at the same time.  His strike record is something that even our strikers would turn their noses up at.

From Pollock's Wiki page...

After his short-lived spell as a football manager, he is now concentrating on his personal training company"
