A good match being streamed  on SK-Bradford v Shrewsbury-have a look at who got away

What an awful game. Both sides rubbish. Ref dreadful. Tackles brutal. Can't understand why either team played such terrible football.

Arsenal played passively last night, taking a big risk.  However, they were the only team in the last 8 not to lose a tie in the quarter-finals.  They have a good a chance as any team to qualify for the CL by winning the Europa League.

Is there any other manager who's got more experience than Paul Hurst when it comes to play-offs?

He's been in management for 10 years now (joint and solo) and this will be his 7th play-off venture (won 3, lost 3):

Won play-offs with Ilkeston 2008/9
Won play-offs with Boston in 2009/10
Lost play-off semis with Grimsby in 2012/13
Lost play-off semis with Grimsby in 2013/14
Lost play-off final with Grimsby in 2014/15
Won play-offs with Grimsby in 2015/16

Now in play-offs with Shrewsbury for 2017/18 (and he & RS had Boston in play-off positions when they joined us in 2011).

He's consistent if nothing else. I watched the match last night and it was low on quality (although the pitch was awful). They look like a team that's run out of ideas but will still have enough to make a fist of it in the play-offs.

The fact that they're competing against the likes of Blackburn and Wigan given their resources and recent history in the top flight makes it even more remarkable that they're sat on 80+ points. Good luck to them. Enjoy the ride because teams don't punch above their weight for long. They always fall back down.
