Two poor sides huffing and puffing but we huffed and puffed a bit more!  Special mention for Woolford.  Had a lot of stick but him and Rose both performed well. UTM

Well clarke made a couple of big intercourse ups actually but got away with both of them. Rose had his best 2nd half ever, and woolford was decent tbf without pulling up any trees.

MOM Woolford for me, particularly when Jolley moved him to centre mid at half time.

Other than that, Collins & Macca very good but couldn't fault anyone for effort.

Well, that has put the cat among the pigeons and back in our hands again.

I'm like a wet rag at the moment, but my god it feels good to finally, finally win a game. Much like the moment of madness from a defender at Braintree turned around our promotion season, the same may have just happened again. Rose planted it in the net superbly and looking at the crowd reaction and noise, we simply can't let a club like ours drop into non league again. The crowd were great and although we weren't brilliant, we were the better side and worked their keeper more then they worked ours. They look a very poor side and looked totally shot at the end.  Woolford and the newly introduced McSheffrey were great at the end when we were running down the clock. Showed all their experience.

Thought Hall-Johnson was superb and my MOM, although all the back four played well. The midfield were mostly good. It's up front we struggle. If we had any sort of goalscorer, we wouldn't be in this mess.

What a massive relief.

This!! and a massive well done to MJ!! he switched us (i believe) to a 4 2 3 1  in the second half and jj found alot more space and summerfield really shined there. along with woolford and mitch looking comfortable defending. very impressive!
