Isn't Mills out of contract at the end of the season? MIght have something to do with that. Me I like Hall-Johnson but I think Mills is the better player at this point in their careers.

I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

The area you are trying to protect at corners is the goal - Chris Kamara

Not necessarily a preference though, maybe RJH is more suited to the tempo that MJ wants to start at, with Mills to replace him at a later stage. Similarly, McSheffrey and McAllister may make more impact coming on later to replace tiring legs and hopefully grind something out.
Anyway, Berret's not in the squad so maybe progress is being slowly made

I'm clutching at straws, but thought Vernon and Hooper looked our "best" pairing on Good Friday when the former came on

Disappointed Clifton not in the squad, he is the most creative of our central midfielders in my opinion.

Dembele seems to be back to his usual form. His movement and passing has been alot better.

Also why hasn't Rose been taking our long throws all season?

Great effort by Hooper... unlucky not to score. Hit the advertisement hoarding and came down and hit a steward on the head.

We are by far the better side dispite having Rose in the team.

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

We were decent in the middle of the half, dembele is getting past people alot and our long throws seem effective. I can see us scoring which is a positive but we keep giving the ball away too many times and they look good on the counter

Yeovil down to 9 men with 2 straight reds Zokos for violent conduct. Good thing they aren't playing Barnet or Chesterfield aby time soon.

When we get the ball down and stop giving it away we ha evenough out wise to get in behind them.

We need to stop giving the effing ball away though.

I don't think we've been too bad, up front we've not got much but with the line up we knew that. Midfield is doing well Demebele looks to be like his normal self again and bar an odd dodgy pass from Summerfield and Rose doing stupid things we're stronger in the middle then they are. Defence still leaving the odd man unmarked but holding up well.

Not sure who will score first but who ever does will probably win it.

The number of times our player have had to hold their hands up after playing shockingly bad balls is what sticks out for me, think 6 times minimum. Sumers back to his old tricks has set them off twice. Shows our deadful lack of quality and/or mental weakness at dealing with pressure for me

Defence still leaving the odd man unmarked but holding up well.

Not sure who will score first but who ever does will probably win it.

Thanks mate.  I know you'll be at the match.  Lets hope we can kick on in the 2nd half

So many nearly balls. Just shows that lack of quality

I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

The area you are trying to protect at corners is the goal - Chris Kamara

This is going to be either 1-0 or 0-0. Such a vital goal if it's scored. You can see why neither team score many goals...

Brilliant!

Jolley unbeaten at home so far! Three games one win, two draws and only one goal conceded!

Now, if we can just beat Barnet next week, we are well on our way to staying up.

Pressure back on FGR.

I assume Port Vale will be away next Saturday, so who knows we may even overtake them too.

It's game on.

I think a win next week will keep us up.

Good win, we were the better team, no one played badly Dembele good first half, usual Summers and Clarke botches led to nothing, made Chesterfield look poor.

Really glad I went and felt the performance overall was quite a positive one, and with the hoodoo of no wins finally lifted might see an even better one next game. That penalty though, i could barely watch, and then he just slotted it in so calmly, balls of steel
