But look at the form guide. This is the form guide since New Years Day.

That is flipping dire.

Vale got their first win of 2018 today.  

Everybody is picking wins/pts here and there with the exception of Town.

Town kept their first clean sheet of 2018 today (a small piece of good news). We had been shipping goals all over the place . But another blank up front. Thats 9 times in those 15 games we have failed to score. In fact we have scored a grand total of 6 in those games and never more than one goal in a game.

People say we just need to beat Barnet & Chesterfield! I dont see us beating any one!!

I just cant see us getting out of it. I simply dont see us catching anyone above us and i dont think we have got enough in us to actually save ourselves. Instead we are relying on the 2 below us not to catch us. Chesterfield won last week ....Barnet won today. Its hard not to see one or both of them getting another good result (or two). Sorry we've had it.

Save yourself the stress and anguish by surrendering and acceptance. Surrender to the fact we are excrement (you've probably done that already) and accept that we are going to get relegated again.(not so easy)  
Once you've done that things will be so much easier to bear, and if by some slightly more than minor miracle we escape, then imagine how happy you will be!

I agree, irrespective of our rivals results, they still all managed to score today with the exception of Stevenage.

I just don't share MJ's confidence that this squad has the quality to win enough games to stay up.

I don't think MJ is really that confident he just has to say he is a to do otherwise isn't possible. Can't see us staying up now but we have to keep fighting. Pack th defence and midfield on Monday, park the bus, and hope to scrape another goaless point like today - that would be be fantastic result under the dire circumstances.
We aren't going to catch any team that has gone past us, it's all about hoping chesterfield and Barnet don't have enough to catch us. We need to do our bit by not losing to them when we play them, and just hope they're too crap to win more than 1 more game till the end of what little remains of the season.
