I appreciate many of us are feeling somewhat deflated and disempowered and dejected at the moment. However, I thought I'd start a thread asking what we might do as individual and collective supporters over the final few games of the season, to ensure that the support for the team is as vocal and visible as possible, and to ensure we do all WE can to help the team avoid relegation. Can we re-channel the energies of OP? Can someone orchestrate the crowd? Can we theme match days? Can we pressure the club to entice a larger crowd, etc. etc.

Over to you Fishy posters to come up with your 'cunning plans'.

This is not a post about changing the board etc. - that's no doubt for another thread/future course of action/later date.

Child free places would be a good start as well as entry for adults priced at £10, I’m sure the season ticket holders could understand this given the circumstances, we need Blundell Park packed to the rafters for the remaining home games.

Grimsby and proud!

Good Friday should be a good crowd anyway,

The last 3 homes games should be £5 adults and £1 kids,

It will cost the club a bit ,

BUT

Not as much as being non league next season,

That should see 6,000+ gates to cheer us on.

Yes, half-price admission to the last three home games. Pack the ground out and back the team vocally from the first whistle

Open McMenemy's, a big quiz or kareoke. A player on each table, the players should mingle with the fans... They need to see what this club means to us all and buy into that.

Should food poison the opposing teams when they visit BP... they all get the runs and play their reserves (If they can get them up to Cleethorpes on time)

However we'd still probably lose

We all know that the Town fans are an untapped source at the club and that's through the clubs own incompetence. Town generally get behind the team and anything to help the club however, as recent seasons have proved Fenty blames the fans the last time went down and is holding a grudge against us for OP Promotion, we can't win, we back the team until we can't shout any more only to be let down time and time again, the onus is on the players they are the only ones who can save this club, question is do they want to be hero's at the end of the season or complete and utter flipping losers.

Supporting the Mighty Mariners for over 30 years, home town club is were the heart and soul is and it's great to be a part of it.

Jesus’ disciple Peter, picked up a fish to get the tribute money from it, Jesus left his thumb print on the fish, bless'ed is the Haddock.

Involve the crowd before or at half time like they used to do.  A crossbar challenge or spinning penalties..  It wont make the crowd but it will be something to laugh at
