2-0

The only consolation I can see is that we have Notts coming to our place and they look absolutely useless (though when we get to play them they probably won’t be)

Chesterfield are making them look useless, we'll make them look like world beaters.

Notts look like they have been bribed to throw the game. Total lack of commitment & interest. Top 3 ? You're having a laugh

I pointed out on another thread that Chesterfield have been decimated by injuries since Christmas, their better players are starting to return, and of all the sides down the bottom, they look the most likely to avoid the drop...as mentioned before we desperately need to win the Barnet and Chesterfield games, and need something against Stevenage.

Until now I thought we'd stay up. Not now. We have to beat Stevenage. But I just can't see us doing it.

That will give Chesterfield the momentum and belief they need to beat the drop.

We need a win......and quick.......Friday at BP could get ugly if we lose convincingly.

It's patently clear that we are by far the worst team in the league. The only slight glimmer we have is that the bottom two don't have enough to catch us. It's clear that Chesterfield do. The thing with us is that when we are bad, we are truly awful and no amount of changing the players or the manager changes anything. When we get on one of these non winning runs we are so adept at, there is no changing it. It's clear that there is a deep and long lasting negative cloud hanging over the club that never goes away.

Well tbf we almost went 1-0 up early on from a corner yesterday, only for Mills' header to hit Wilks on the line.

That's a good point, aye. So we're not due another one until about November now.

Notts county making it look as though it’s them batting for relegation and Chesterfield chasing promotion.
