Barnet have chesterfield to play, if either wins then the gaps closes there and then anyway. We’re finished

Well - to put an upbeat spin on this - it was always a tall order to play a couple of experienced but not match fit players in Mc Sheffrey and Mc Alaster (plus even Woolford), and I think the first half reflected a better performance with these better players in the side ( welcomed these inclusions).
Second half - no fuel in some of the tanks.

For the Barnet, Chesterfield and FGR games these experienced players can, if they remain fit, last longer in a game - the more they play.

Biggest concern is the unlikely event that Town will ever score a goal.

We've scored two in the last three games under Jolley

One was a penalty I accept but before that spot kick we hit the woodwork twice in a matter of seconds then today our own player blocked a goal bound header.

Fine margins I know but IF we can ever get in the lead again, who's to say we couldn't sneak a win

Come May 5th (or maybe before) there will be tears. But will they be tears of joy and relief, or as now looks likely, tears of anger and frustration, at the demise of the club at the hands of the bald one and the board?

Dave Smith talking balderdash about us challenging for playoffs. We never were in any danger of threatening them.

I’m certain that the last time we won, we were 1 point off the playoffs?

Make it 4. Our goal has been peppered towards the end. A proper drubbing.

Their goal tally doesn't lie - that I admit

I still think that the score-line has flattered Coventry but you clearly disagree

It's all about opinions and ours differ

First of all - from your posts - I think we pretty much sing from the same hymn sheet
Secondly - Berrett scored the other goal and he's been dropped - so am struggling to see where the next goal is coming from.

Solution - McSheffrey - keep him fit play him forward - he is a finisher.

Good to know I'm actually not a fish out of water then TTG

I'm just trying to stay positive and trying to believe we can score a goal and if it it's the first one in a game, have some trust ( or blind faith) that we might just be able to get an elusive wini

When all is said and done I can't deny that our position isn't precarious but I am just not ready to throw the towel in yet

Got to try and stay positive until there is no hope left...

Change the manager - nothing. Change the team - nothing. Change the formation - nothing. The squad is turd, the club is rotten and we are gone.

We were lucky not to concede a few more due to poor finishing, Davies had an absolute nightmare that second half.
