Anyone have any ideas on who this speaker may be?

Earlier I suspected Kevin Dutton and having listened to the interview with Matt Dean I still think so.  MJ said he is not a current or ex pro but has worked with sports professionals before.  MJ has worked with the speaker before and Kevin Dutton was recently on a podcast with Joey Barton which is a great listen.

Kevin Dutton is a psychologist specialising in psychopathy and has worked with numerous sports professionals to help improve their mindset and how they think. It is thought that many elite sports people are psychopaths but there isn't a large enough sample to verify this.

There is a Burnley link there and he fits the profile of what MJ is trying to do.
