Dear Watson.

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Don't you get sick of the players that keep coming out and saying " we have to dig ourselves out of this hole ".  We have heard it all before and nothing ever changes.  Clarke the latest player to feed us BS.  Why not go to Coventry, work their bollards off and get a result and then talk about a POSITIVE result in Monday nights paper.  Don't talk the talk if you can't walk the walk.  There is only so much crap that you can take in one season.  Jolley talks a good game, but as yet has not delivered anything new in my opinion.  Still, he has to have time as he has inherited the worst team ever to pull the famous stripes on.  I still think we may well get out of this hole, but only because the bottom two teams are hopeless as well.   One thing is for sure, if we do survive this season in the EFL, the GTFC marketing department are going to have to work wonders in selling season  tickets.

Realistically though, what do people expect him to say to the press/radio?

I'm sure if they didn't do any interviews there'd be moans and groans about them not respecting fans enough to front up and do interviews.

Don't take it too seriously and let's just worry about what happens on a Saturday. Just my thoughts.

Pretty sure there wouldnt be....we've had enough of standard press interviews this season from the players, managers, B.O.D.  I for one would be quite happy to not hear from anyone at the club for the rest of the season until the season is over (resignations aside) when they can announce their apologies for completely mismanaging every single aspect of the football club and pleading for forgiveness.

Let's hope Mr Jolley doesn't have to plead for forgiveness.

As Town fans we all want the same thing, league survival.  I honestly don't think as a club we could survive another stint in non-league.  My gut instinct is that we will survive but only just.  The scary thing is our form, and just what a bad team has been assembled this season, how the hell did we get in this state.  Massive home crowds will be vital to pump up the atmosphere and although I am always a season ticket holder, I would be quite happy for the club to give out free tickets just to pack BP and give us that vital edge we need at home.  It is a massive ask, but 7,000 plus crowds in our remaining home fixtures would make a significant difference in my opinion.  BP needs to be rocking in these final home games, the clubs future could literally depend on a handful of games.

A 'rocking' BP just a myth in my view. It makes no odds and its proven. The fans won't keep us up. It's what happens on the pitch that counts, and we've heard this flim flam time and again. Get behind the lads, pack the park, be the twelfth man etc....all bullsh1t.
It's got f@ck all to do with the fans IMO. The players need to get their act together on the pitch, in front of 10k or 1k.

Exactly. How many do Accrington get?

Anyway, aren't we all toxic bullies?
