Do we know how McAllister got on yesterday in the reserves? Surely Wilks will get a chance on Saturday......

Would like to see him go 3-5-2 but I suppose it won't happen

5-4-1 but could easily become a 3-4-3 or 3-4-2-1 in attack and depending how the game pans out. A point would be an excellent result and although we desperately need a win, every point helps.

Why Rose?

Injured Summerfield and invisible Berrett - no thanks.

Clifton would be an option but I thought as we were away to Coventry thought McAllister and Rose would give a bit of physicality to the midfield

This is the team i have picked some won't like it but in midfield we don't have a great selection to choose from to be honest, i think picking McAllister from the start is unrelistic since he hasn't played which baffles me but getting rid of Jamey Osbourne and Chris Clements also baffled me also. Personally this is the best option of a team to pick at the moment but where relying on loan players like Jackson or Wilks or McSheffrey who is at the end of his career. The worry with relying on loan players is they don't have to worry about the possibility of playing National League next season they can just move on.

                      Macca

Mills/RHJ  Collins Clarke  Fox

Dembele  Summerfield Clifton DJ/Mcsheffrey

             Matt     Wilks

Would like to see Matt play along side a nippy second striker as opposed to being up there on his own. He works hard but doesn’t get a lot  of support.

Clarke - let’s be honest, we aren’t going to drop our captain (as much as I’d like us too)

Macalister - like most, I think there’s a reason he’s not playing. If not - stick him in if Summerfield isn’t fit.

DJ/ Mcsheffrey unsure if two relatively inexperienced wingers would be a good idea away from home so torn between the two.

I like the 4-3-3-7 formation!

Probably get smashed about 100-0 but at least there would be the commitment and pride to wear the shirt there!
