I think half of the problem with Matt is that he looks quite tall and ungainly to the point that the defenders in this division can get away with manhandling him to a ridiculous degree. Against Port Vale in particular, he was getting his shirt pulled up around his shoulders at times but the referee was turning a blind eye to most of it.
