Sorry, but what is your point? Should we all bury our heads in the sand and praise the team for not winning in 17 games? Should we praise the shocking performances? The captain diving in and giving away penalties for no reason at all? Just in case we upset the players?

Well they upset me, I can tell you. Relegation is on my mind now 24/7, it is affecting my mood and my life.

It's gone way beyond the level at which the players can reasonably expect not to get harsh critiscism. This forum, like others I'm sure, tends to be too short term (thinking we r world beaters after a win, all crap when we are defeated - Christ I can barely remember what this forum is like after a win!). But this has been sustained awfulness for months. No win in 18, next to no goals or points or clean sheets. No decent team performances, only a few good individual performances, relegation staring them in the face. If the criticism is too much then prove us wrong - we'd be delighted, we're town fans we want to see them winning not turning out steaming dog turd performance after steaming dog turd performance. But it would seem that is beyond them, so the criticism would appear to be amply justified now.
