You can only be as good at the level that you are currently at.   He may or not be able to perform at a higher level (our level).

....or he could develop like Jamie Vardy has !

It is obvs a few levels below league 2 but then some of our league 2 players seem to be playing at Scarboros level at the moment so no harm in giving him a try to see if his positive loan experience has improved the lad.

I have watched some of his excellent goals.   I agree with rancido that we do not know the limit of his potential.

Surely he is worth a year or 2, he surely deserves a chance.

How many levels below L2 is he playing?

We currently have a large part of our squad who should be playing several levels below where we are now.

No doubt very talented but and it’s a big but would he handle the physicality of the league ? That male masturbator sweeney smashed Clifton into the hoardings deliberately and looked to have hurt him , that challenge would have split max into 2. I think we’re hes playing his pace gets him away from those situations at Scarboro. Good luck to him whatever happens

My friend who watches Scarborough, says Max isn't scared to get stuck in.

Surely Mr. Fenty will see it will be cheap to offer Max a contract.

He still trains with GTFC on a regular basis so MJ knows all about what he could bring.
I'd expect him to sign another deal unless Max wants to make sure he play first team football and signs for Scarborough

Seem to remember MJ saying a few weeks ago he was well aware of his progress and he'd been impressed with the lad. The way he's playing , age on his side, having some pace and being quite direct with the ball, pretty sure it will be a no brainer for MJ to offer him a deal. Personally thought he looked quite good in pre-season when I saw him play. Made the odd mistake but didn't shy away from playing at full back or as a more attacking winger.

Pace is the big thing which could help him make the step up to our level next season (wherever that is). If you're quick, you can often get away with being small and slight, especially if you assume he will get stronger as he gets a bit older.

Would be nice to see him here next season and introduced gradually in the way young players used to be.
